Pride Film Club: A Single Man
Fotografiska's Pride program invites you to three evenings of acclaimed cinematic art highlighting queer perspectives.
Kick off Pride Week with us! In collaboration with Filmklubben, we present an exclusive film series curated by Jonas Pedersen Hardebrant. Over three evenings, we will screen three internationally acclaimed films that explore identity, love, and belonging through the power of cinema.
Tonight’s screening features Tom Ford’s acclaimed directorial debut A Single Man. Based on the novel by Christopher Isherwood, the film follows university professor George Falconer as he struggles to find meaning in life after the sudden death of his partner. With its visually stunning aesthetics and nuanced storytelling, the film is a deeply moving depiction of love, grief, isolation, and the quiet beauty of everyday moments.
Your ticket includes admission to Fotografiska for the entire day, so feel free to arrive early to explore our current exhibitions or enjoy dinner in the bistro before the screening.
The screening takes place in Ellen, our unique event space on the ground floor, which we are opening specially for this evening. Please note that entry is via Fotografiska's separate event entrance.
