Opening Day 15 Fotografiska Years

A full day of artist talks, book signings, live music, and culinary surprises.

On 18 October, the anniversary exhibition 15 Fotografiska Years will open – our largest group exhibition to date. Over 120 artists will gather at the venue, from international stars to Swedish masters.

The opening day will be filled with artist talks, book signings, live music and culinary surprises. Meet some of the photographers who have shaped Fotografiska, including James Nachtwey, Helene Schmitz, Miles Aldridge, Emilia Bergmark-Jiménez, Erik Johansson, Alison Jackson, Paul Hansen and Jesper Waldersten. A unique chance to get close to the people behind the iconic images.

As part of the celebrations, the group exhibition Meanwhile will also be opening, where four photographers from our Emerging Artists programme showcase the diversity and future of photography.

◾️ The first 500 guests will be treated to a pastry from our patisserie.

◾️ On level 2, you will find our pop-up oyster and champagne bar, open 12:00–17:00.

◾️ Outside the greenhouse on level -1, Swegreen will be there to tell you more about our hydroponic cultivation and how we grow locally, all year round.

VIP wristband
When you check in, you and your guests* will receive a wristband that gives you access to the members' lounge and makes it easy to take advantage of member benefits throughout the day.

Drink ticket
All paying members receive a drink ticket to use during the day (does not apply to guests).

Member lounge – open 11:30–20:00
We are setting up a lounge on floor 2 – exclusively for members. Knut Koivisto will be there to take your portrait (if you want!), piano jazz will be playing in the background, and you can order food without queuing. There will also be unique offers in the shop.
