Course content

Through a balanced mix of practical exercises and theoretical insights, you will deepen your understanding of photography. During the year, we will cover:

• Visual language & image analysis: Learn to interpret and analyze photographs on a deeper level.

• Visual communication: Explore the interplay between text and image, as well as the impact of photo series.

• Photography & image selection: Gain tools to craft compelling visual stories.

• Guest lecturers: Meet invited experts in photography and visual art on three occasions.

Course book & assignments

Between sessions, you will work on practical and theoretical assignments with direct guidance from Göran via email or Slack. As a unique conclusion to the year, a digitally printed book documenting the course, featuring the participants' own work, will be produced, with each participant receiving their own copy.
